Westcoast Logger Tribute Desk Display
Westcoast Logger Tribute Desk Display
For all the haywires who battle dangerous conditions, and miserable weather to find the best wood.
This beauty features the Madill 124 yarder (arguably the best swing yarder in the world and a staple of Westcoast logging for decades) cut from 12ga stainless steel and offset on a 12ga mild steel sawblade.
Yes, the sawblade is sharp and you can cut yourself if you try hard enough. And if you do, you might wanna ensure your tetanus shot is up to date as we've rusted it up to match the old iron you run.
Just like the industry itself, this art piece is perfectly imperfect, with the metal showcasing battle scars of its own.
At 2 pounds and 11 ounces its got some heft, but still stands unashamedly tall at 10" long x 11" high x 5" deep making it a perfect size for your logging shrine or to sit on your desk to remind you of the fellas out there working in miserable conditions to make it all possible.
The finish on each piece will vary slightly from the pictures, as we haven't figured out a way to train metal to rust up or scratch in exactly the same way.
Temperamental as it is, we'll keep fighting the good fight.
